Snowflake

Individuals or organizations are sometimes collectively excluded because of discriminatory statements or actions. The pejorative term snowflake can then be used by the criticized individuals or organizations to accuse the collective that excludes them of hypersensitivity, emotional vulnerability, and censorship of free speech. In this way, an attempt is made to relativize the accusation of discrimination. It also avoids communication with, or engagement with the culture of, those discriminated against.
